Client Project: Building ToteTaxi’s Platform

Published on December 01, 2025

Just finished a full rebuild for ToteTaxi.com, a premium luggage delivery service that transports bags between Manhattan and the Hamptons.

When I started, the entire business was running on Google Sheets, Zapier chains, phone calls, and a broken website. It was a total Frankenstein workflow — slow, fragile, and impossible to scale.

So I rebuilt the entire system from the ground up:

  • Multi-step booking wizard with custom state management

  • Google Maps + ZIP code validation + geographic surcharges

  • Stripe checkout with Link

  • Customer dashboard with bookings and delivery details

  • Full staff operations portal

  • Onfleet integration for real-time driver routing

  • Automated emails, reminders, and pricing logic

  • Django REST Framework backend

  • React + TypeScript + Tailwind + Zod + TanStack Query frontend

This isn’t just a website — it’s a full business operating system that replaced hours of manual work and completely transformed their operations.

Huge shoutout to Danielle Candela for trusting me with her business.

If your company needs automation, AI workflows, or full-stack engineering to replace messy manual processes, feel free to reach out.
I build custom tech solutions for real-world problems.
